Containing the Problem

Containing the Problem

This photo shows an area in a basement in which we are working and the lengths we will go in order to protect your belongings and your home or business.  We treated the ceiling and joists for mold in this home and we built a containment barrier not only to prevent the mold from spreading to other areas of the home but to protect the walls and the floor from any potential overspray or drips from the treatments.  The homeowner had just had the walls painted and new flooring installed and he was concerned about potential damage to the materials.

If your home or business has been affected by mold, know that SERVPRO of Augusta/Waterville has a team of highly trained technicians that know how to address the issue and protect your investment.  When we're done with the cleanup, it will be "Like it never even happened."

Mold on Structure Beams

This was in a Central Maine house where a steam valve let go in someone’s basement. Imagine this:  the homeowners hadn't been in their basement for two months and when they finally walk down the stairs, they see and smell this unwanted visitor!

Hopefully something like this doesn't happen in your home but if it does, call SERVPRO of Augusta/Waterville.  We have the knowledge and resources to clean up after your "unwanted visitors".
